When scary squirrel world learned that technology giant EDS planned to air a commercial featuring skwerls during the 2001 Super Bowl, we initiated a letter writing campaign to stop the treacherous propaganda. We even went so far as to provide sample letters for both Patriots and skwerlhuggers to send to EDS.

Letters poured in from around the world protesting EDS' obvious attempt to spread the falsities of skwerlhuggery and the horror of squirrel world domination. To no avail. On Sunday, January 28, 2001, EDS' commercial aired before a shocked nation and around the world.

And what were viewers exposed to? A horrific scene of a skwerlien attack on a small village during which terrorized peasants run in horror from the marauding bushytail horde.

Patriots, we believe EDS' atrocity also contained the subliminal messages found so often in chitterbox propaganda. Specifically:

RESISTANCE IS FUTILE: as slavering nutkins race through the village, no defense is offered by the villagers. In fact, no fewer than three natives are brutely mauled by the skwerlballs in the period of 60 seconds.

SUBMIT TO SQUIRREL WORLD DOMINATION: at one point, a peasant admonishes us to "think like the squirrel."

EMBRACE THE FALSE PROMISES OF SKWERLHUGGERY: at the end of the commercial, the surviving villagers are seen cavorting around the graven image of a skwerlien deity; probably the so-called "nice squirrel."

Patriots, the subliminal messages listed above are obviously embedded in this deviant video. But, don't take our word for it. Some of you know and/or recall that Ross Perot ran for President a few years back. A major part of his agenda, some say his only agenda was to eliminate the deficit. But did you know...

Perot purchased EDS in the 60's. When Ross took over, EDS was barely making a profit, about $4000.00 on a 400,000.00 gross.

the following is pure coincidence we're sure:

Perot got rich off government money -- Medicare and Medicaid to be exact (two of the programs contributing the most to the deficit he campaigned against); and Perot's EDS was the company that administered medicare and medicaid billings - first in Texas and later nationwide at the cost of 100's of millions of dollars per year.

Ever since, EDS has faced critical audits, congressional investigations, and charges of poor quality work and exorbitant fees. But they built a dominant position in a new industry by investing heavily in political connections, notably with the Nixon Administration, and by personal contacts (Perot himself was a consultant for EDS' first Medicare client, Texas Blue Cross.)

It's also said that EDS maintains profits from government work with their near-monopoly power and, in part, with vicious, sleazy attacks on any potential competitors. That might just be sour grapes...
