SQUIRRELS:
LOVING PETS
OR
FAMILY NIGHTMARE?
|
CAN I KEEP IT, HUH, CAN I, CAN I!?!
scary squirrel world receives many, many letters from squirrelhuggers extolling the virtues of squirrels. None are more disturbing than those who confess to owning a pet squirrel.
scary squirrel world supports keeping squirrels in secure lock-down facilities as a partial solution to the current crisis. However, the wisdom of letting a maniacal chitterbox into one's home escapes us.
We also note that even amongst the most ardent squirrel supporters there is disagreement on this subject; and in many areas it is illegal to own a skwerl.
Therefore, we present you with a survey on the subject wherein you can express your opinion. We also offer you real information on caring for incarcerated bushytails should you capture one or more during a routine Anti-Squirrel Coalition mission.
The information on incacerating skwerls is courtesy of our wildlife rehabilitation consultant, Mary Cummins. Patriot Mary is a licensed wildlife rehabber specializing in skerls. Although Patriot Mary adheres to an "enlightened" approach to chitterbox imprisonment (where are the daily lashings? the gruel for meals? the forced marches?), her advice is straightforward. Also note that she does not advocate for the early release of criminal nutzys.
