Produced in 1957 by Sy Wexler, the film was shot on location at Creater Lake National Park and at a research center whose location remains a mystery.
Initially, Squeak, a Golden-Mantled Ground Squirrel, is portrayed as a somewhat dim little skwerlball who nearly knocks himself out attacking his image in a mirror (click Squeak for comment).
However, once the action switches to the research center, Squeak's true abilities are exposed.
In spite of its age (and download size), this film remains a must see for anyone serious about educating themselves and others about the dangers of squirrel world domination. But we warn you... what you're about to see is disturbing... very disturbing...
