No Distinction
by Skwerlhugger J.H.
The feral screech rings;
He waggles his bushy tail.
Squirrel is king of tree.
From limb to frail limb
The squirrel leaps with such grace;
Second job: dancing
Bounding and leaping,
From tall pine to ancient oak,
Squirrel chases his love.
From car to Mack truck,
The squirrel makes no distinction:
Suicidal end.
