And Then A Dead Squirrel Was Added To My List Of Sins
by patriot katz
A cold hand grips my heart
as my vision darkens.
I am dragged down
to a cold world
of eerie blue light.
Death has taken me
to the lowest of the icy hells.
On a throne of dark despair,
the ruler of these barren,
icy fields sits.
He coldly laughs,
for my soul will forever
be caged here
with chains harder
than the strongest steel.
A shiver runs down my back
as my eyes fill with crystal tears.
I am shrouded with despair.
Never shall I see
Heaven's blessed light.
Why did I run over that damn squirrel?
