Stay up there and eat your nuts
No need to cross that street
I don't want to see your guts
or lifeless up-turned feet

Can't you pass the word along
that crossing over head
On power lines that seem so strong
is how your friends got dead

So please, get killed some other way
In someone else's yard
My kitty would just love to play
with squirrels all cold and hard
